About the Preserve

Francis Hilb Preserve is a small preserve but it is packed with plenty to see! The area is a great spot for people who like botany and bird watching. This spot is also ideal for busy families who need a quick break from the city.

When the Sault Naturalists visited the Francis Hilb Preserve on July 14th, 2018; Sue and Bill Meades created a detailed list of the many flora in the preserve including:
